JAWS is switched on and the user is logged into Jira with Unstoppable installed and activated for user.

How to create a sprint


Step 1: Navigate to the Backlog menu in Jira. To find out how to navigate using unstoppable click here

Step 2: Press "Insert + F7" keys to open the "Links List" dialog on the page.

Step 3: Press the "Up" or "Down" arrow keys to navigate through the links in the "Links List" Dialog or type out the word "Start Sprint"  where JAWS will auto select the Start Sprint Button.

Step 4: Press the "Tab" key to focus on the "Activate link" button and click enter to start the sprint. This should open up a start sprint dialog box.

Step 5: Enter the values of the fields as requested e.g. Sprint name, start and end dates, duration etc. (Note: During the start and end dates selection you should be able to choose a date from the calendar as well as enter the date in your local Jira format)

Step 6: Press "Shift+Enter" to start the sprint.

How to close a sprint

Step 1: Navigate to the the sprint you want to close in Jira. To find out how to navigate using unstoppable click here

Step 2: Press "Insert + F7" keys to open the "Links List" dialog on the page.

Step 3: Press the "Up" or "Down" arrow keys to navigate through the links in the "Links List" Dialog or type out the word "Close sprint"  where JAWS will auto select the Close Sprint Button.

Step 4: Press the "Tab" key to focus on the "Activate link" button and click enter to compete the sprint.

Step 5: In case there are some unresolved issues in the current sprint, a pop up will open to give you the choice of where to move the unresolved issues. Press tab to move down the list and choose the appropriate option.

Step 6: Press "Shift+Enter" to complete the sprint.
